TUESDAY, 8 TH FEBRUARY 2022. A REDEEMED FAMILY TELLS OF THE WONDERFUL DEEDS OF GOD
TEXT: PSALM 78:1-22
In a redeemed family, parents teach their children about the wonders of God (v.4). Parents teach their children to trust the true God of the Bible; and must disciple their children to teach the generations after them (2 Tim. 2:2).
Today, many parents have got an opportunity to teach their children in their respective homes, but of these many would rather have their children go back to school because they cannot bring themselves to disciple them. On a tragic note, some fathers have sired babies with their own daughters. What a shame! Some parents cannot focus their families to God because they do not know God at a personal level. They depend on schools and others to teach their children and yet those are under little or no obligation to point the children to Christ. Most times they learn very ungodly cultures instead and have no testimonies of what the Lord has done for them because they do not know God. You can know God only in Christ.
Meditate on verse 4. How are you going to apply it to your life?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, may we not hide wonders You have done for us over time to our children. May we disciple our families. Amen.
