Christmas greetings to you all in the name of our King and Savior Jesus Christ!

We are all excited over Christmas holiday and end of year festivals. Yes, indeed there many reasons to celebrate the goodness of the lord but more importantly to celebrate the reason for the season-Jesus Christ.

The birth of Jesus reminds us that God is still thinking about us so dearly. While we were dead in sin, he chose to send his son, Jesus Christ, out of the comfort of heaven to identify with sinners like us (Romans 5:8).
As a church, we bring our profound gladness to you all for standing with us since the year begun. You have patterned with us in spreading the Gospel through prayer, giving and dedicating your time. May God bless you abundantly.
However, we bring sympathies to you who suffered illness, lost loved ones, lost jobs, business and others who are hurting differently. We commend you to the able hands of our Savior Jesus Christ for renewal and strength.

The theme for the next year is from Romans 12:1-2 – “Conforming to the Truth of God’s Word and not the patterns of this world.” This calls us to renew our minds as we plan for next year but also to walk in the footsteps of our savior Jesus Christ.
Finally yet importantly, I implore you in God’s mercy to care for your families in a manner that brings glory to God. Avoid things that bring shame to you as an individual, church and the country at large.
As we come to the end of the year, we would like to bring your attention to Cathedral end of year programs,

  • Candlelight service on Sunday 24th beginning 6pm
  • Christmas Day three services- 8:00am, 10:00am and 12:00pm
