Praise the Lord Friends, Last Sunday we continued with a topic Giving as Mission, and a sub-topic: “I will open for you the windows of heaven” [Mal 3:10]. In God’s word, everything is possible. There are no regulators that limit the overflow in our lives. The idea of windows of heaven opening also refers to God releasing or flourishing growth and increase in our lives as a whole. BUT this release will only happen as a result of our obedience and repentance. This releases a package of divine healing, God’s presence, God’s will, and increase in every area of our lives. The idea of windows of heaven to open is a carefully executed plan of God to act even when there seems to be slow progress in our lives, it calls for full tithing in the Lord’s store house because keeping tithe in our hands blocks our blessings. In this, God shows us a clear pattern of how His blessings are obtained through faithfulness and obedience to His voice. Disobedience hinders and blocks the windows of blessings that results to shame and reproach.

Four things that may happen when God opens the windows of blessings as indicated below.
1) Provisions will follow. God desires to meet our needs and for those that seek Him will lack no good thing and He will lead them to the right place. As a Christian you ought to seek first God’s kingdom and all other things will be added unto you e.g. His servant Elijah received through a widow and a scavenger.
2) There is a recovery leading to a discovery of who God is; this was seen by Job who experienced several deductions but trusted and waited on God he was rewarded with restoration that changed his destiny and recieved a new chapter of discovery, as well as a double portion.
3) God takes you to a higher ground /promotion; you receive divine favor that will lead to promotion e.g. Joseph from misery to mystery and divine relevance in your life.
4) Where nothing is expected something will come out; God can bring something out of nothing ex-Nihilo therefore we ought to desist from having doubt and fear where
there is lack, as long as there is divine breakthrough the story will change from hopelessness to being hopeful/ fruitfulness.

In conclusion, as Christians we need to; repent and be Obedient for God to unlock every window of heaven. Our connection to God will determine our collection.
