Text: 2 Corinthians 4:1-7.
Believers are endowed with the resolve to “…renounce disgraceful, underhanded ways”. They “refuse to practice cunning or tamper with God’s word, but by the open statement of the truth” they should commend themselves “to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God”. Verse 2. (ESV). This can only happen when God shines His light into your heart!
Is there anything you would like to claim or apply after today’s reading? Are you prepared to renounce all sin including witchcraft? It is your personal decision to refuse to practice those evil things. Reflect on vv.3 and 4, what are they teaching you?
Lord God, teach and empower me to stand up to and reject all evil. In the name Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.
