Text: 1 John 4:1-6.
There are various spirits and the children of God have the ability to test such spirits and ascertain if they represent the Holy Spirit or not. And if the spirits are from the devil, God’s people have the strength to defeat those forces because, “…for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world”. (v4) (ESV).
By meditating on Philippians 4:13, do you realize the strength you possess against the devil? Do you use this strength and power against sin and evil?
My God and my Father, remind me always of the power and strength you provide to defeat the devil and sin, through Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.
