Text: Psalm 75:1-10
The Bible warns us not to be proud (vv. 4-6), for it is God who puts down one and exalts another (v.7). Many times we want to uplift ourselves basing on mainly material wealth. We forget that it is only God who allows wealth and poverty for His own glory. This also serves His own purposes. Our God is all knowing, infinitely Holy, Wise and the only One who has power to uplift and put down a person as He pleases. Let us trust Him in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ.
Meditate on verse 7. What is God teaching you in this verse?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, You are the righteous judge, for You are all knowing and Holy God. Help me to accept when I fall short of Your glory.
In Your judgement have mercy on me. Amen.
