WEDNESDAY, 5TH JANUARY 2022 || BE COURAGEOUS, BUT LEAVE NO ROOM FOR FAMILIARITY AS YOU APPROACH GOD IN PRAYER
TEXT: EXODUS 32: 1-14
Moses prayed with courage to God for Him not to destroy Israel; “why should the Egyptians say, ‘With evil intent did he bring them out, to kill them in the mountains and to consume them from the face of the earth’?
Turn from your burning anger and relent from this disaster against your people” (Exod.32:12, ESV). With reverence and confidence, but without familiarity, pray to your Father like you are talking to a friend.
Meditate on verse 32. What is God teaching you in this verse?
Our heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray You forgive us wherever we have not taken You seriously in our prayers. Give us the courage to share our needs with You. Amen.
