Text: 1 John 3:11-24.
“and whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him,” verse 22 (ESV). Let us keep God’s commandments as we yield to the teaching of the Holy Spirit and gain confidence in our God that He will answer us. This is the very confidence that Jesus had in His Father for He was obedient to the Father, (John 11:41-42). This is the confidence that Jesus Christ requires of us, His followers.
Reflect on verse 22, what is God teaching you in this verse? How are you going to apply it to your life?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, help me to always obey and follow Your commands. Amen.
