Text: Isaiah 52:1-15
The Lord is calling on Jerusalem to wake up and clothe herself in beautiful garments (vv. 1-2). This symbolises God’s holiness. When God’s children had been redeemed (v.6) messengers spread the goodness of God’s redemption to the neighborhood of Jerusalem (v.7) to the glory of God’s Name. It is a great privilege for you to witness for Christ in this dark world, that your feet are beautiful as you traverse places fulfilling the Great Commission (Matt 28:18-20).
Remember Christ is on your side to encourage you.
Meditate on verse 7. How are you going to apply it to your life?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, enable me to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ in my generation. Amen.
