Text: Psalm 117: 1-2
This is a special Psalm with three unique features: it is the shortest Psalm in the Bible, it is the shortest chapter and it is the middle chapter of the Bible. It is a promise Psalm calling all peoples to praise God (v. 1). The Psalm uniquely
calls on all Gentiles and peoples to praise the Lord, it also gives reasons why we should praise God (v. 2), because of His merciful kindness and His truth that endures forever. Our God is truthful and therefore reliable. Let us trust Him in
the name of Jesus Christ.
Meditate on verse 1. How are you going to apply it to your life?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, let all Your creation praise You for Your mercy, kindness and truthfulness that endure forever. Amen.
