Text: Isaiah 66: 1-24
In this last chapter of Prophet Isaiah, one can somehow say it is more less the summary of the entire book. The chapter consists of God’s rejection of hypocritical worship, Jerusalem’s restoration, God’s actions as Saviour and judge, the deliverance of Israel and all nations. Isaiah concludes his prophecy as he talks about the vision of new heavens and new earth (vv. 22-23). He also does not under look the need to warn people about hell (v. 24).
The warning still stands today, unless you repent, receive and believe in Jesus Christ, so that you receive eternal life, hell is real!
Meditate on verse 26. How are you going to apply it to your life?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray that I will be humble before You and tremble at Your Word. Amen.
