Psalm 102:1-28
This is a Psalm of somebody in distress, some people think that this Psalm was
written during the time of David’s son (Absalom) rebellion, others think that
may be Daniel, Nehemiah or any other prophet could have written it during the period of captivity in Babylon. However, according to verses 25-26 and Heb. 1:10-12, the Psalm is referring to the day of Messiah, talking about either His affliction or the affliction of His church.

The Psalm depicts personal distress (vv. 1-11), the people’s distress (vv. 12-17)
and hope in God (vv.18-28). The Lord will look down from heaven see the
groaning of His children and release them from suffering (vv. 19-20). Trust God
in the name of Jesus Christ.

Meditate on verses 11-20. What is God teaching you in these verses?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray that You look down on me from heaven and deliver me from the present groaning. Amen.
