Text: Jeremiah 3:1-13
The Lord through Prophet Jeremiah is inviting Judah to repent and come back to Him (v. 12).
They will genuinely repent if they will first acknowledge their iniquity (v. 13).
This call of repentance applies to us as a nation. We have abandoned God as His Word no longer has meaning for most of us. We must repent and come back to God, for He is willing to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1John 1:9).
Meditate on verse 12. How are you going to apply it to your life?
Our Lord and heavenly Father, I confess my iniquity before You and that of my nation; forgive me and grant me the joy of Your salvation. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ I have prayed. Amen.
