Text: Psalm 74:1-23
God punished the children of Israel because of their persistence in sin: He punished them inspite of their being a special tribe of His inheritance. In the same way, you as a child of God, through acceptance and believing in Jesus Christ, always live a repentant life. Remember you were purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross, you are now redeemed and indeed God’s inheritance (v. 2). So do not live a defeated Christian life. The Lord will not abandon you; you only have to live a repentant life, life of obedience to the Holy Spirit.
Meditate on verse 2. What is God teaching you in this verse?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank You for making me special. You bought me with expensive blood of Jesus Christ. You redeemed and made me Your inheritance forever. Amen.
