Text: Romans 10:1-21.
“that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved,” verse 9 [NKJV]. To confess the Lord Jesus Christ is not a mere acknowledgement that He is the Son of God and Lord of the universe, because even the demons acknowledge that truth [James 2:19]. Rather, it is a deep personal conviction with no reservation that indeed Jesus Christ is your personal King and Saviour. This calls for repentance of sin, seeking forgiveness from
God, trusting Jesus Christ for salvation and submitting to Him as Lord. Your salvation or deliverance or rescue is attained and guaranteed only in the finished work of Jesus Christ at the cross! Amen.
Meditate on verse 9. How are you going to apply it to your life?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray that many will go beyond the mere acknowledgement of Jesus Christ as God and Son of God but also receive and believe in Him as their Lord and Saviour. Amen.
