Text: Proverbs 20:1-30.
“Food gained by fraud tastes sweet to a man, but he ends up with a month full of gravel,” verse 17 (NIV). Not only food gained by fraud but every evil is sweet in the mouth of the wicked, but in the short and long run, it turns sour.
Thus in the process of looking for money avoid fraud. It has killed many businesses and embarrassed great men and women in society, and indeed in the Church.
Reflect on verse 17, how are you going to apply it to your life?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray against the evil of fraud in our society. Forgive us of all evil that we have committed including fraud. Amen.
