Text: Ezekiel 39:1-29
In this Chapter, we continue reading about the condemnation of Gog. As we have seen a few times in the Book of Ezekiel (and throughout the Scriptures), Yahweh is concerned about bringing Himself glory. He is not arrogant and self-serving. Yahweh is glorified because of who He is and what He has done. Yahweh is the Creator and Sustainer of all things.
And God is also Judge, and He will be glorified when He maintains justice and condemns sinners. But He will be especially glorified in graciously saving some sinners, who also deserve condemnation.

According to the teaching of the Scriptures written after Christ, Jesus is the Creator (John.1:1- 3) and the Sustainer (Heb.1:3) of all things. And Jesus is also the Judge (John.5:22,27), and in His judgment against the wicked, Jesus will be glorified. But most especially, Jesus will
be glorified in the salvation of sinners (Rev.5:12). Enemies will attack Christ’s people, but it is part of His plan for their strengthening and for His glorification.

Meditate on verses 21-22. What is God teaching you in theses verses?
Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray that You let my enemies
know that You are my God and You are fighting for me. I pray for victory over
them. Amen.
