Thursday, 2nd September 2021. Ask God how to raise the children He gives to you
Text: Judges 13:1-25
Manoah asked God how he was going to raise the son he was soon to have (v.8). Let us learn to commit our children even those who are not yet born, to the Lord. Let us pray for God’s wisdom on how to raise them up. The Lord will answer and guide us (v.14). The children are not of your making, they are gifts and blessings from God, as a parent, you are just a steward.
Meditate on verse 8. How are you going to apply it to your life?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, help us to raise children after Your own heart. Amen.
