Text: John 1:1-16; Revelation 19: 13.
It is clear from this portion of Scripture that Jesus Christ is referred to as “the Word” or “the Word of God.” This Word became flesh in Jesus Christ and dwelt among us. This Jesus Christ, God Himself, empowers us, His disciples to cast out demons and heal diseases.
Reflect on verses 1-4, 12: What attributes of this “Word” can you identify in verses 1-3? What authority does this “Word”, described in these verses, have over you?
Father, thank You for the Word that became flesh for us to be saved. Help me to obey Him always, in the name of Jesus Christ I
