Text: Colossians 3:18-25.
In Christ, the painful aspects between a man and woman in family relationships which were introduced at the fall are all reversed. Now wives are commanded to submit to their husbands “as is fitting in the Lord” and husbands are commanded to love their wives and not to be harsh with them,” (verse 18 and 19). For in Christ, a man to rule and be hard on or harsh to his wife is reversed.
Reflect on verses 18-20, how are you going to apply them, each in your category as a wife, husband and child?
