Text: Romans 10:5-18.
“…And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard?”
verse 14. For one to be saved indeed he/she must call on the name of Jesus Christ. And one calls on the name of Jesus Christ only if
she/he has heard of Him. Only Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
And believers who died before Jesus Christ came were also saved by trusting in Christ and their faith was a forward-looking faith, based on
the Bible. They looked forward to the Messiah or Redeemer who would come at some point. “These all died in faith, not having received the
things promised, but having seen them and greeted them from a far, and having acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the
earth,” (Heb. 11:13).

Reflect on verses 13-17, what is God teaching you in these verses, and how are you going to apply them to your life?

Father, in the name or Jesus Christ, help me understand Your Word and spread it to the communities. Amen.
