Text: Isaiah 38:1-22
Hezekiah became very sick and was told that he would soon die (v1). He cried to the Lord and He heard his prayers and gave him fifteen (15) years more (v.2-6).
Note that Isaiah was not alarmed by God’s quick response just like Nathan (2 Sam 7:3-6). Only Jonah was alarmed (Jonah 4:2-3). Do not be alarmed or surprised when the Lord quickly answers your prayers, instead worship Him more!
Meditate on verse 2. How are you going to apply it to your life?
Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray that You renew my love for You and increase my years so that I can witness for You and multiply Your Kingdom. Amen.
