Texts: Romans 12: 1-21; Numbers 25:11.
“Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically,” verse 11 (LASB). We must live Christian lives with enthusiasm and energy. As you serve God and His people everything you do should be excellent.
You should never be identified with shoddy work. In every thing you do be exceptional so that every one will know that you are indeed the follower of Christ. Be alert, so that sin may not overtake and weaken you.
Reflect on verse 11, what lesson are you learning from this verse? How are you going to apply it to your life?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, forgive me where I have been negligent. Give me the energy, encouragement and creativity to serve You. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.
