Text: Romans 8:1-39.
“Yet in all these things…”verse 37 [NKJV]. Which things? These are: tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, the devil or the sword [verse 35]. “…we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us” verse 37 [NKJV]. Look at the things that give you stress: Marriage and family matters, job, politics, neighbours, poor health, finances etc. The Bible is encouraging you that you are more than a conqueror. Meaning that, in Christ you conquer completely, thus the things mentioned in verse 13 should not threaten your life or health. When such things come you may feel abandoned by Jesus Christ, however, trust in His Word that in Him you have completely conquered any threat to your life. In Christ you are secure!
Meditate on verses 37-39. How are you going to apply them to your life?
Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I choose to trust You, that in Christ I am more than a conqueror over any threat to my life. Amen.
