Text: Psalm 147:1-20
If you are sad or stressed today, I would encourage you to make a conscious choice to praise the Lord. As we noted earlier in the case of tortured Paul and Silas in prison in Phillippi, there is something powerful and healing about choosing to praise God regardless of our circumstances. If He can heal the brokenhearted and name the stars, what else can He not do in your life today? He can do anything, so praise Him! He wants to sustain and provide for you, provided you choose humble praise. Our covenant God delights in showing up in power to those who realise how much they need Him, and choose to place their trust in Him. Praising Him today is an act of hope and faith, so Praise the Lord!

Meditate on verses 13-14. What is God teaching you in these verses?
Our Lord and heavenly Father, only You are worthy of all praise and thanksgiving; You heal all ills Almighty Father. And so I pray for blessings upon the children of this nation, that we may know You and, thus, let Your peace reign over our respective families. In Your Mighty Name I have prayed. Amen.
