Text: Psalm 114:1-8
This Psalm is one of those that are related to the Exodus (Exod. 12-14). The Psalm demonstrates God’s response to His nation, Israel, in Egypt in a way to fulfill His promise to Abraham (Gen. 28:13-17). The Psalm brings out two issues; first, God who did wonders in the past (vv. 1-6) and secondly God who continues to do wonders presently (vv. 7-8). The Lord who was with His children in the past and became their sanctuary (v. 2) is the same God today and the earth still trembles at the presence of God (v. 7). Do not take God for granted, revere Him.

Meditate on verse 2. How are you going to apply it to your life.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray that my family and I will be Your sanctuary and dominion. Amen.
