Sunday, 19th December 2021. That Jesus Christ would come according to a time table
Text: Daniel 9: 20-27
In God’s economy, events do not just happen, everything must take place in God’s perfect time (vv.24-27). The number in these verses, hard as they may look, are for a reason. They are not redundant. And for the sake of our devotion today I have not gone into details. However, you are encouraged to make your own study and research on this whole chapter.
The Bible teaches us that things of God happen at His timing. For example, “But when the fullness of time had came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law” (Gal.4:4). The Jews had been wondering when the Messiah would come, but God’s timing was perfect. You may be wondering when will God answer your request, do not give up, God’s timing is the perfect one!
Meditate on Gal. 4: 7. What is God teaching you in this verse?
