Text: Matthew 4:1-25
Jesus was interestingly led by the Spirit into the wilderness. Here he faced temptation from the devil. Make no mistake my friend, “a wilderness does not mean that you are not with the Spirit or that you are out of the will of God”.

No. It could be a season. After Jesus overcoming the three temptations with the Word, He lived in the land of Zebulun and Naphtali around Galilee and His message was “Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand (near)”. This message was like His mission statement and He maintained it to the end. He also calls His first disciples Peter and Andrew (brothers) and they immediately followed (v. 20). Will you follow His prompting this year? They brought to Him
all various sicknesses and He healed them. Your work is to point many to the Healer, Jesus Christ!

Meditate on verse 23. How are you going to apply it to your life?
Lord Jesus Christ, I pray that I will preach the gospel of repentance and forgiveness in You alone. In Your name, Jesus Christ, I have prayed. Amen.
