Text: Psalm 16: 1-11.
This Psalm much as it seems to talk about David like being rescued from his enemies or death, it is symbolic. It points to the resurrection of Jesus Christ. “For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol, or let your holy one see corruption,” verse 10 (ESV). Indeed the tomb could not hold Christ, He rose from the dead and by faith in Him you and I can have eternal life. In Christ alone you will never perish! Meditate on verses 7 – 8. How are you going to apply them to your life? My heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I pledge to bless You always, to the glory of Your name. Amen.
