Saturday, 7th August 2021. In deep trouble God’s Word will comfort you
Text: Psalm 119:137-144
The Bible encourages us that when we are in trouble and anguished, God’s commandments, meaning His Word comforts us! (v.143). Without comfort from the Word of God the challenges of life can overwhelm us and cause us to acquire diseases like diabetes hypertension and cancers.
Jesus calls those who are troubled and are in anguish to come to Him for rest (Mat. 11; 28-30).
Meditate on verse 143. What is God teaching you in this verse?
Our heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, thank You for Your Word that encourages us. Amen.
