Text: Romans 8:1-8
The Lord encourages us to use our gifts diligently to serve one another as we serve Him (vv.6-8). You realize that none can have all gifts mentioned at once.
An assertive teacher may not necessarily be a good counselor; a generous
person might not be a good leader, so we need to complement each other to the glory of God. Do not be proud of your one particular strength, instead let it complement the weakness of the other person, and together you build a formidable force to the advantage of the Church of God.
Meditate on verses 6-8. How are you going to apply them to your life?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, help me to discover my gifts and use them to benefit Your Church. Amen.
