Saturday, 4th September 2021. Teach the children not to forget the works of God
Text: Psalm 78: 1-20
You should teach your children not to forget the works of God (vv.5-7).
It is important for parents to teach their children to have hope in God (v.7). The children should be taught the Word of God and also be able to teach the coming generations. These should be a form of transferable concepts (2 Timothy 2:2). Parents should teach their children the Word of God, and they will be effective only when they are in Jesus Christ.
Meditate on verses 5-7. How are you going to apply them to your life?
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, help us to teach our children to have hope in You. Amen.
