Text: Colossians 3:18-25.
“Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people,” verse 23, (LASB). Regard your work as an act of worship or service for God. Also treat problems you meet at your places of work as part of the costs of discipleship. People will be watching how you react in such situations. As a family, you should know that since creation work came from God. Therefore do not regard work, especially in agriculture, as punishment.
Reflect on verse 23, what is God teaching you in this verse, how are you going to apply it to your life?
Father, thank You for giving us work. I pray for energy and willingness to do the work You have given me. I pray for those who
lack jobs that You will provide. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.
