Text: Psalm 146:1-10
If humans are not trustworthy, then why do we always seem to place such a heavy trust in government? This is because we want to have a physical material reason for the success of our communities. But our praise that we present to God is for His justice in spite of human failures at organization. Praise God that He raises up communities for His glory!

The poor, oppressed, and hungry enjoy His grace and favor regardless of whatever organized humans may fail at. He heals, releases, and protects those who cannot protect themselves. Praise the Lord that He restrains wicked people, for they are never as successful as they plan to be. When they fail, praise Him for His righteousness and faithfulness!! God shows His powerful reign every day through these experiences, and He wants us to see these victories daily. Praise the Lord!

Meditate on verse 5. How are you going to apply it to your life?
Our Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ, how privileged I am to be able to seek help from You; I pray that You reveal more of Yourself to me and establish all my trust in You. Amen.
