Text: Titus 2:1-5
To raise children of faith, young mothers should be taught how to do so (v.4). Many mothers do not know how to raise children of faith. To make matters worse, some mothers are not available as they go out to pursue their careers and come back to their respective homes late, with much of their energy spent. Such homes will find it difficult to raise children of faith.
Young mothers should seriously consider balancing between career and family so as to be available for their children, rather than leaving them to maids, relatives and Day Care Centres. To raise a generation that will live by faith begins early in life, and it requires time and energy on the part of parents.
Meditate on verse 4. How are you going to respond to it?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, help young mothers to make time for, and teach them how to raise children of faith in You. Amen.
