Text: Luke 17:1-37.
Jesus Christ was and is the friend of the rejected (verse 12-14). Lepers were considered defiled and unclean, and therefore could stand at a distance and that’s why shouting was very crucial for them to attract attention and be heard (verse 13). Jesus Christ told them to go and show themselves to the priest because it was the priest who would declare a once defiled individual as clean. Their obedience paid the price, as they moved to the priest they were healed! Please obey the voice of the Lord and receive eternal life through Jesus Christ when you receive and believe in Him by faith alone.
Meditate on verse 14. How are you going to apply it to your life?
My heavenly Father, give me the heart of obedience as I follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.
