Text: Jeremiah 25: 15-38
The judgement was not only on Judah, but on all nations as mentioned in the Scripture (vv. 15-38) we have just read. Please note that prophet Jeremiah could not present this cup of judgement to all the nations mentioned; instead, in the vision he behaved as if all those nations had representatives to receive the message of wrath. Also note that; Babylon, the nation that God used as a sword to punish His children was also later judged and destroyed (v. 26).

You may be preaching the message of repentance and forgiveness to others when you yourself are not applying it, or God could be using you to punish others because of their sin. Remember unless you repent, you too will be
judged harshly.

Meditate on verse 34. What is God teaching you in this verse? How are you
going to respond to it?
Merciful Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we cry to You individually and
collectively as a nation; we repent and ask for forgiveness of all the sins we
have committed. Amen.
