Text: Matthew 3:1-17
Jesus Christ’s ministry never began with a bang! No. His ministry began with a herald. John the Baptist was a voice in the desert crying out that all should prepare the way for the Lord. Before the second coming all of us are commended to be like John. Be busy warning the current generation of the need to repent or else face terrible judgement. Jesus later accepted the baptism of repentance to fulfill all righteousness.
Meditate on verse 3. How are you going to apply it to your life?
Lord Jesus Christ, prepare me to be a sanctuary, pure and holy so that I may be a herald of Your voice calling others to repentance. In Your name Jesus Christ I have prayed. Amen.
