Text: Jeremiah 46:1-28
In this chapter, we discover several insights. Much as God chose Israel for
a special purpose, He loves all people and wants all to come to Him. God
judges basing on fairness and justice not prejudice and revengefulness, God desires and delights in salvation and not in judgement. God judges everyone by the same standard. He is impartial. In this chapter, we are still guided by the fact that God punishes His children in order to turn them back to Himself, He punishes to correct and purify His people, us inclusive (v.28). With good intentions God punishes us in order to see us corrected and purified.
Meditate on verse 28. What is God telling you in this verse? How are you going to respond to it?
Our heavenly Father, thank You for being with us. Uproot our enemies from before us, and as You discipline us, have mercy on us. In the name of Jesus Christ we have prayed. Amen.
