Text: Matthew 12:16-31
It is very sad and it disturbed the minds of the Pharisees to say that Jesus Christ was from Satan (v.24) despite the display and proof that He was God, and they knew it. They blasphemed against the Holy Spirit because they were refusing something they knew was from God (John 11:48; Acts 4:16). It was terrible for the Pharisees to attribute something they knew that was from God to be from Satan. Even today in the present generation you meet people who underrate the power of God to save (Rom 1:16)
Meditate on verse 30. How are you going to apply it to your life?
Heavenly and forgiving Father, re-kindle my faith in You by the Power of the Holy Spirit so that I never blaspheme the Spirit of God and be on Your right hand side as we are gathered for Your Kingdom at the end of time. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
