Text: Psalm 106:1-48
This is yet another long Psalm, while in Psalm 105, we saw God’s goodness to His children, Israelites, in this Psalm we see the history and the accounts of rebellion and Israel’s provocation of God. Nevertheless the Psalm begins and ends in praising the Lord. Despite the rebellious spirit in the children of Israel, God saved them for His sake (v. 8). Despite the evil and rebellious acts you have committed, the Lord is calling you to repent and be saved through the work of Jesus Christ on the cross.
Meditate on verse 6. What truth do you get from this verse? How are you going to respond to this verse?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, forgive us for our fathers and us have sinned
against You. Amen.
