Text: 2 Corinthians 4:1-18.
In Christ, the inward man, the soul, of every believer or the new creation is renewed every day. A new creation means that you as a believer your growth in Christ likeness is constantly happening, much as your physical body gets weary, sick, gets old and eventually dies (verse 16). Yes your outward body will perish but your soul will not; you are hidden in Jesus Christ! Amen.
Meditate on verse 16. How is this verse encouraging you?
My heavenly Father, help me to stand firm as I trust in You much as my physical body may be wasting away. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray.
