Text: 1 Corinthians 7:1-16.
“For how do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife? verse 16.
If you are saved and your spouse is not, please do not abandon him or her instead help him/her to understand. It is only when the unbelieving spouse insists on leaving that you may permit them to do so. Otherwise as a saved spouse be light and salt to your unsaved spouse so that he/ she will appreciate the Holy Spirit working in you and who knows, he/she may come to grace through your life style as a believer.
Reflect on verse 16, what is God teaching you in this verse, and how are you going to use it help couples whose marriages are not doing well?
How are you going to apply it to your life?
My heavenly Father, I pray for the many marriages which the devil is fighting. I pray for victory and mutual understanding. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.
