Text: Matthew 10:16-25
Jesus Christ tells His disciples that they would be opposed by the Pharisees, political authorities, close family members and indeed, nations (vv.16-22). Nevertheless, Jesus Christ comforts them that, if He Himself was called Beelzebub, the prince of demons, then they should not expect to be treated any better (v.25). However, He encourages them to take heart because whoever endures will be saved (v.22). Stand firm as a disciple of Jesus Christ, in Christ you are more than a conqueror.

Meditate on verse 23. How are you going to apply it to your life?
Heavenly and loving Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray for all the missionaries over the world, especially those working in countries where Your church is persecuted; strengthen, protect and provide for them; and give them Your assurance that, in all things, they are more than conquerors. Amen.
