Text: 1 Corinthians 4:1-21
God requires us to work with diligence and trustworthiness (v.2). If you are a preacher of the Word, preach what the Lord commands you to preach, not what people want to hear. If you are a teacher in the school, a farmer, a shop keeper, whatever God has called you to do be truthful to your leaders. Do not cheat them in any way, not even with time. Remember at the end of the day you are accountable to God.
Even when you are cheated, do not be tempted to cheat too, instead forgive those who cheat you. Jesus could have prayed for God to punish those that tortured Him; He instead prayed for them to be forgiven (Luk. 23:34).
Meditate on verse 2. How are you going to apply it to your life?
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, help me speak Your Word in its entirety. Amen.
