Text: Matthew 20:1-16

Today’s world is full of people who expect God to do their will, according to worldly standards. They assess that if you accept the grace of Jesus late in your life, then your divine rewards should be different from those who accepted Him in their youthful days. Not so with Jesus. He accepts and erases all past sins equally without measure or favour. Come the way you are; you will benefit as if you began earlier. For, indeed, the first will be the last and the last will be the first (v.16), much depending on the depth of their faith (as we read in Chapter 17:14-21). The Kingdom of God is not limited by time or space.

Meditate on verse 16. What is God teaching you in this verse?
Almighty God and our Lord of all blessings, in the name of Jesus Christ, I ask you to receive me the way I am; and continue to show me, that worldly standards are all vanity; I pray that You deepen my faith and focus all my being as a worker in Your vineyard. Amen.
