Text: Luke 6:27-36.
“But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil; verse 35. (ESV).
When you lend to those who may not be able to pay back, the poor, some widows and orphans your reward will be great. Spread the good news and give hope to the vulnerable and you will be rewarded as sons of the Most High. You may cry for lack while on a mission field but take heart, your reward is very great, the Bible promises.
Reflect on verse 35, what is God teaching you in this verse, and how are you going to apply it to your life?
Father, give me the energy and encouragement to work for Your glory. Give me the ability to help the needy. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.
