Text: Isaiah 32:1-20
After seeing bad leaders, as they are explained in, for example 28:14-15; 29:15, we now see Isaiah prophesying about a righteous King to come who will rule with justice (v. 1). This King will be a hiding place from the wind and a cover from the tempest (v. 2). He is like streams of water in a dry place cooling and bringing life to it. He will be like a shadow of great rock in a weary land where a traveler can take shelter or cover from the hot sun (v. 2). In here prophet Isaiah was looking in the future during the Messianic rule.

In Christ, you are protected from strong winds of the enemy and under His arms you are sheltered and safe from attacks of the devil and his agents. In God there is hope and victory. Amen.

Meditate on verses 1-2. What is God teaching you in these verses?

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, may Your rule of righteousness and holiness prevail over our Land. Amen.
