Text: Deuteronomy 28:1-14.
“And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the LORD your God,” verse 2 (ESV). As a Christian, if
you obey God’s Commands, His blessings will follow you. Therefore, it is important that you obey God’s Commandments including honouring the Sabbath. Please do not take it lightly or else the curses mentioned will follow you.
Reflect on verse 2, what is God teaching you in this verse and what blessing does God promise you if you obey His commands (verses 3-14).
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, forgive me for the many times
I have taken Your day, Sunday, lightly. I pledge to honour You by observing Your day. Amen.
