Monday, 20th September 2021. Parents should teach their children the Word of God
Text: Ephesians 6: 1-9
Parents exist for children; therefore they should nurture and guide their children into godly living (v.4). Parents should live exemplary lives to their children, lives that will cause their children to love God and His people.
Parents should discipline and give clear instructions to their children so that a generation that trusts the Lord is developed. You can give effective guidance with the help of the Holy Spirit who you receive at a point of receiving and believing in Jesus Christ (John 1:12).
Meditate on verse 4. How are you going to apply it to your life?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, teach parents how to raise up disciplined children. Amen.
